Mr. Gross started his career in Information Technology over 40 years ago as a legacy programmer for Standard Oil of Ohio (BP America) one of the world’s largest oil & gas companies. It's headquarters were in Cleveland, OH. His main responsibilities were maintenance programming and support for the series of programs that processed over $25MM in sales daily. In this role Mr. Gross learned structured programming and the importance of thorough documentation along with client interviewing techniques.
Mr. Gross then became a Systems Analyst at Picker International, a manufacturer of medical imaging equipment. At that position he was exposed to online programming and worked on a wide variety of projects. In 1986 Mr Gross started his own consulting firm providing software training and IT consulting services eventually specializing in data mining for the commercial banking industry, specifically Asset Based Lending institutions.
